Training is the most overlooked, and perhaps most underappreciated, aspect of the successful development and deployment of physical security systems. Most physical security systems, regardless of the threat level, are monitored by junior team members. Given the sophistication of these systems and the experience level of the average monitor, training is critical to immediate response, optimal usage and threat intervention.

Training is approached as an ongoing process using a variety of means. PSI believes training must be on-going and that for operators to be successful, PSI provides repeat and follow-up training session. Learning the optimal use of these systems is a dynamic process and operators will inevitably have more questions as they gain hands-on experience. Through the provision of custom training guides, videos and multiple on-site sessions, PSI trains its customers to master the system.
